Hermit crab

Hermit crabs a great addition to any reef tank to help clean algae and detritus from the rocks and substrate. Their long claws can reach into small cracks and crevices that are missed by snails, urchins, and many other members of the clean up crew. Be sure to provide addition shells of appropriate sizes for them to swap and grow into to prevent aggressive behavior.
